THE VISION
KELTIC DESIGNS – 1989 – San Francisco CA
Welsh artist Jen Delyth came to San Francisco from the UK in 1985.
She started Dryad Graphics in 1987 – which soon evolved into Keltic Designs Inc in 1989.
The vision – to publish and create a gift line with her original Celtic Artwork.
IN THE BEGINNING
HAIGHT STREET FAIR 1990
Keltic Designs by Jen Delyth began with a small line of black and white silk screened Tshirts, cards and serigraph prints.
It was an immediate success! Our small business quickly grew – now joined by partner Scott Silverberg
ON THE ROAD
Back in the day – Keltic Designs could be often found at local festivals and events.
The Haight Street, Castro and Union Street Fairs in San Francisco. Whole Earth Festival in Davis – and the incredible Irish Arts Foundation Music Festival at Fort Mason. Remember that!
Touring to the Oregon Country Fair in Eugene, and the Seattle Scottish Highland Games in Enumclaw. And of course the Scottish Games and Gathering – Santa Rosa CA.
a family affair
Back home in Wales, Jen’s family also took an interest in showcasing Jen’s work at festivals in Wales, Cornwall, and Glastonbury music festival.
Jen continued to create new mythic artwork – and printing her fine art and textile prints in her studio in San Francisco
